7 Series - E65 / E66 (2002 - 2008)
Discussion of BMW's 4th generation E65/E66 7 Series flagship. The E65 generated much controversy, due to its radical styling and iDrive user difficulties. Nonetheless, the E65 broke records to become the best-selling 7-series iteration ever, especially after its 2005 facelift.

Sunroof fuse

Does anyone know where the sunroof fuse is (2006 750LI)? I watched the video but the pictograms weren't really that informative in some cases, including the sunroof.

I'm thinking maybe it is fuse 63 in the rear. But there are some fuse pictures that are just rectangles. Fuse 10 in the front is also a possibility but it might be something else and it is only a 15 which seems kind of light for a sunroof.

My car started acting up like some others have had problems with. After I shut the car off and get out the windows will go down and the sunroof will open. The last time the sunroof quit working entirely and stayed open and I had to manually close it. I'm not a big sunroof user anyway so I figure if the fuse is blown, fine. Or I can take the fuse out and do without a sunroof. I just don't want it stuck open again. The windows are usually easy to get back up to stay up. That should make the car driveable and buy some time to figure out what is causing this mess. From reading the best guess is the key slot, although there really isn't much info on what you need to do to replace it (what coding etc.) and my odometer is reading fine. Other guesses seem to be unhooking the battery for a couple of hours or door handle problems.

No. I think it was pleasantly warmish but not hot Maybe low 70s once and maybe 60s the other times. Why?

Because a few years ago we were on a trip summer mid-season so it was pretty hot... So i move the position of the car walk out lock her and voooup the drivers window comes down the half getting in, up , get out lock same.... I call the stealership the were like we have no clue about this... So i spend the morning guarding her and everybody ealse at the sea... Finaly when she cool down the window closed! After that every time its very hot outside same story... Like a sensor or something

A bit of an update- I opened up the rear fuse hatch looking for the sunroof fuse and my car has a written list for the fuses instead of the pictures and the sunroof fuse is 63. I pulled it ( it wasn't blown) and this time the windows didn't go down when I exited the car. I don't know if it had anything to do with the fuse being out or not. Maybe even the sunroof switch is the problem, but since I'm not a big sunroof user I'm not that concerned right now.
