2009-2010 Winter E39 Picture Thead!

It is that time of the year that we all can start showing off our winter pics!

I just mounted my winter wheels yesterday on new to me 17" BMW Style 81 rims on Bridgestone Blizzak LM-25's. We are getting some light snow for the first time today

The winter rims I always wanted - I like the modern BMW look of the flower petals!





My winter wheels I used the last two years (18" Style 42 reps - painted gunmetal)

I like how they look with pre-facelift lights, grills, etc. I'm not a huge fan of the front spoiler, but to each his own.

Not a flake in the sky here.

That's surprising! It hasn't really gotten that cold until this weekend when we did see some snow for the first time.

Snow's in the forecast, like it has been for the last week... I can't wait. Last three years I've gone up north (Haileybury, ON) to my girlfriend's school... she's done now so I'm not going up and I'm missing the snowy drive...

we got our first dusting that has seemed to stick here last night. Will have to scout out a place for pics soon.

Just put Blizzaks on the old 540i-Sport last weekend. Got all four (brand new) for $400 from a BMW dealer in the Chicago area. Gotta loves Blizzaks!

Resurrecting the thread,
Freshly installed Konis and H&Rs, had to throw the snows on the next day .

A lot of snow came down the past couple of days so my E39 wasn't going anywhere with the summer tires that are almost slicks. Fortunatly my dad's E61 has proper tires so I had to take that to work every day (oh how sad)

Yes. My wife's Odyssey on the right (and we need to keep one lane open for our boys to slide down the driveway on the snow/ice) and all the other crap/toys on the left.

Nice colors on the cars! V70R is a cool ride. How is Indianapolis? I lived there for 3 years (left 1 1/2 years ago).

Up until the 28th, it was clear around here. Then it snowed, but only an inch. I want more!

There's a picture of my car after I drove in the slushy mess that's the usual conditions around here but it's distressing.

Sorta bad pics via iPhone, but was actually not much better in reality. These are of the Ben Franklin to Jersey...It was very bleak, reminded me of The Shining.
