Thanks. Yes, the V70R is/was a nice ride. My brother is enjoying it now. He made it to Denver yesterday from Indianapolis on his way to Mammoth Lakes, CA.

snow is still falling. this thread should still be going. my pics with the new "robot eye" lences from ecs. still determining if i like them or not cause they dont have a parking light but still looks alot better then the old scratched up ones.






fun weather but i hate her being dirty. thoughts on the lights?

I think you just need to get a bulb that has two filaments.

dont think i would have tried? the socket it comes with is a one filament socket its made only to blink. and you could say use the factory socket but you cant because the new socket is angled to create a good seal. thus the factory socket would put in a crooked bulb and a bad seal... i dont understand why they did that but thats the way it will have to be

Those lights look really sharp with white

My Hella clears are Euro too and they also came with one socket, but I was able to use the old socket out of my amber lens Hella's with no problem.

and i guess the way the "robot eye" is, is angled. i could use the old socket some how but the bulb would come out in it crooked. why couldnt they just make a dual filament socket for these
