Aux Input with Cigarette Lighter

I have a 2006 X3 and am planning to add an AUX input and a 12V power source for my GPS in the dash storage bin in the front middle (I don't have NAV).

Where is the cheapest place to get the AUX input kit. I looked at http://www.europeanautosource.com/pr...roducts_id=297
It is about 40$

Also, I am finding a way to have a 12V power source to connect my GPS. Anyone have any ideas on how to do it. I was planning to use the power source of the flash light socket in the glove box.

That's the standard price at the moment.

A few years back it was available for $32 from BMW online outlets that discounted.

Occasionally see one new or used being sold privately for $20 or $25.
