E39 (1997 - 2003)
The BMW 5-Series (E39 chassis) was introduced in the United States as a 1997 model year car and lasted until the 2004 when the E60 chassis was released. The United States saw several variations including the 525i, 528i, 530i and 540i. -- View the E39 Wiki

Mein Auto: 1998 540i
Unhappy Loose front bumper :( (PICS)

It's the driver's side bumper, I didn't hit anything, and it just came loose.
Then i found out that the bumper on that side is missing some screws from the previous owner.

And yes, i know, my front lip is all eff-dup...
the car is too low and I sometime hit the bumps on the road.












The other side for comparison







so my plan is to get the screws from the other side and buy the exact screws then install all the screws. hopefully that would do it

Cool post. Mine is a bit off also but not as bad as yours. When you do it, please take during and after pics also. I'm curious what everything looks like with the front end off, if there are adjustable spots etc. Keep us posted bro!

Will do, but i wont get it to for atleast another week.


if i had the $ i'd just get a m5 bumper

you're in SD? same here man! mira mesa area tho. you should get a bumper from DDMtuning its right off convoy i think. 185 isn't bad compared to most.

hmm...theres this place in blaboa? medicie auto? dont know the name off the top but i know they can do 300 for bumper+paint+install i believe.

get the bumper and just hold on to it until you get enough to paint. as for lights try to search the web for deals like on craigslist or DJ autos

had the original amber 01+ but sold them and went with these =) DJ autos with LED AE's. only me and a friend of mine have these versions in SD probably. my friend started popping these open way before umnitza came out with there version.
