Z3: Passenger Window will not go up!

Hoping you guys could help me out. Yesterday, I rolled my passenger window down. However, when I tried to roll it up it goes up about 3-4 inches and stops. I can get it to go all the way down, and back up about 4 inches and it just stops, like something is holding it. I took the door apart, but do not see anything wrong. I even removed the window, sliders, etc., and just tried moving the regulator, but the same thing happend.

Any ideas? or should I just go ahead and get a new regulator? And if so, how the hell do you get the regulator out? I tried but it just seems like the opening is way too small

Several years ago, I had a similar problem with stoppage and drag on electric windows. It appeared that the regulator arms were rubbing or binding. With the glass removed, I sprayed a can of white grease over as much of the moving parts as I could. Helped a good bit, but still slow in the winter.
