Don't worry about it

I need time to finish my exterior anyway, then move on to the inside.

Got a bit more done today, wasn't able to work on her the entire weekend, 'cause I was in NY state Friday getting this:

Got my windshield replaced in Mesina NY, :

Then I was instructing on a senior leadership course the rest of the weekend. I left at 7am Friday, got home 11pm last night. Made for exhaustion when I got in.

Nice lip!

And nothing like a good ol ripped out interior!

I'm excited for you to take apart the dash, so I can see how much of a pain I'm in for.

Sorry it's taken so long. It's been nasty out and I don't drive her in the bad weather.

But, it's supposed to be beautiful out all this week. So videos will come. I need a camera man. Plus I've been busy fixing some things up on her, and sorting out the boost controller issue (crappy boost controller)

And I got a lambda control 1 CEL, but it went away, so I'm not sure if I'm going to get a new O2 sensor or not.

Took some quick pics after a quick wash since it's nice out.

No vids yet, damn exhaust manifold cracked already

So, I'll be getting a cast manifold like I should have the first time. Today I also finally installed a door lock actuator in the passenger side, and some few odds and ends. I'm trying to get everything little problem taken care of.

Any thoughts on why the passenger side of my engine is pissing out oil overnight?
I can't see any major leaks from up top, so I need to get it on a lift asap. I know the oil pan is leaking, have a new gasket on the way. Any other ideas?

Yes, they do Randy

But nope, they're dry, real dry, as in no leaks at all. The intake pipe to the turbo (the one with the air filter and MAF on it) has oil on top/around it. Not sure where it's coming from.

Could oil be shooting out of the crack on the manifold? :scratcheshead:

Orly? I'll sell them to you ebay style.

Only $100 for all four, $475 for shipping

I really do like them though, there's other ones that I would prefer and probably will get eventually, but for now, these'll do just fine.

Thanks man, I'm not a fan of red on most of the cars I see, but on the E36 it is quite lovely.

Looks good bud....

wow that manifold didnt last long....where did it crack at, collector area by turbo flange?

i wouldn't think the oil would be coming out of the exhaust manifold....valve cover gasket maybe, something up top and dripping down or flung from the belt/fan. hard sayin what it could be, not much on the pass side to start leaking....get it on the hoist and give her a look
