What one's mike again?

Didn't include Corey cause I never see him anymore and his engines about equal with where I'm at and he's got no suspension work or weight reduction.

i wouldn't think the oil would be coming out of the exhaust manifold....valve cover gasket maybe, something up top and dripping down or flung from the belt/fan. hard sayin what it could be, not much on the pass side to start leaking....get it on the hoist and give her a look

No it didn't. Not sure, I feel/hear it around cylinder 1. I am going to do some more inspecting and get her on a lift wednesday. I'm going to pressure wash the engine bay and get rid of all the oil to see where it's coming from.

Valve cover gasket is brand new, plus there is hardly anything in my catch can.

Oil pan is junk, Vanos oil line is wet, not sure how bad it leaks though. Next will be the oil filter housing. Not sure what to do after that.

Bah. What a drag. Your E36 is looking mighty nice these days though.

False alarm though, there is a minor, very minor leak at cylinder 1/2, but there major leak is more interesting.

Only 1 of 4 turbo to manifold bolts were tight!!

One fell completely out

So I took off my exhaust and checked everything out. Have to get a gasket tomorrow and some nuts and she'll be good to go!

really sweet. i like the whole set up.

loc-tight is cheep

loctite wont hold up to that kind of heat. you need locking washers on that piece, those washers that have a cut in them, that should do the trick.

I have a recurring problem called lymphedema in my left leg. Mine was caused by many past injuries to my leg. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lymphedema
Very painful, and I can't do anything except sit with my leg up and take antibiotics and pain meds until the flare-up is over, 2-4 weeks, sometimes longer. It can be life-threatening if untreated. I've had it for years. All it takes is a good bump on my leg to set it off. That's what happens about three weeks ago.

Wow, sorry to hear A dude that works at a nearby shop had that on his leg(s), always felt sorry for that guy. Hope you feel well soon, hang in there

Treatment only, no cure. My vascular surgeon told me he wished there was something he could to to fix it, but he can't.....and he's one of the best in the country. Biggest danger is infection (what I have now). I try not to get bummed out about it. Being able to drive again will help. Soon, I hope.

Can you work on Elvira meanwhile?

I can barely walk, and I'm not even supposed to do that ('cept for potty breaks). Boooooooooooooooooooooooring.

Preview for this weekend. I will be able to take some vids finally!

I bet the little turbo will spool a good bit quicker with this as well. I'm excited to finally get some vids for you guys!
