I'm talking about the cable sleeve, it's pressed onto the hub in the rear.

Meh, not real meaty. I have a 4X4 Yamaha Kodiak, winch, heated grips, etc for playing in the mud, but it blew up...again...lol. I just had it rebuilt a month ago, so that should be fixed for free.
I bought this because it was cheap, a 2 stroke, and it will be crazy fun on my little dirt track. The thing weighs around 350lbs, and has around 20hp. 6 speed with clutch. With a lot of mods, it should have close to 40hp, and be able to keep up with almost any quad. Now for the suspension gurus, my shock mounts are built onto these coilovers, are there still rear shock reinforcement plates I need? |

Yep, you'll still want the reinforcement plates on the top. I'd also get reinforcement plates for the front strut towers, too.

From ECS:
Z3 Reinforcement Plate BMW E36 318is M44 1.9l Mounts on top of the rear shock Fits coupe and sedan models only Z3 mounting plate for added support at rear shock mounting point. Does this mean between the rear shock and shock tower? I don't see how that would help with my shocks. Maybe if it went above the tower. And yes, I will get the front plates for sure. |

I think the quad needs turbo charging
Edit: Yes, reinforcement plates go on the top, well, that or I did it wrong .

Yeah, the rear shock tower reinforcement plates mount on top of the shock tower (inside the trunk), whereas the front strut tower reinforcement plates mount underneath the strut tower (on top of the strut support bearing/camber plate).

Eventually, too many other things to put on.
Still need front and rear rotors, front and rear shock reinforcement plates, new rear upper control arm bushings, powder those arms, rear camber arms, powder the rear trailing arms, and maybe a few more things. |

New head gasket?! What happened (aside from the obvious)?
And I'm glad you can be called upon for knowledge regarding door handle replacement. I'm sure I'll have to deal with that eventually. Your car sure does look great, though.

Nah, not too bummed, just that I have to buy another hg lol.
I had a feeling it was going, it's still perfectly drive-able, no real signs, and no problems. I noticed a little while back my rad hose stayed hard. Today after some boost I pulled the cap and there it is! haha I believe something happened when the accessory belt snapped a few months back, the needle swept to the right somewhat right when I turned it off. So the head may be slightly warped or cracked, we'll see. Thanks Karl. |

There is a writeup online somewhere I followed to first time, which I still follow today IIRC. It was a PITA the first time, but kinda cake now.
