They are BMW Style 127, known commonly as CSLs.

i don't know whether to boost my car or not i keep changing my mind although i really want to.The car was expensive like all cars here so dont have enough money left ANOTHER DOWNFALL IS THAT IT HAS 228232 KM ON IT but it spent most of its life in Germany and cant find a place to check the compression in the cylinders.plus want to change the rims but toooo many choices i know i want 17" though.
Need advice on whether to go with it or not plus what kind of turbo maybe even twins since i might do it anyways.

Oh and everything is still original even the cooling system.

If you are really serious, you need to have some serious cash saved up, are you doing the work or someone else? I would say 6k minimum.

Don't use twin turbos.

What kind of power do you want to make? That's the question that needs to be addressed first.

The whole car should be updated at least maintenance wise, suspension, brakes, engine, cooling, etc.

Hey im doing the work and i want to make about 350-380whp. i updated the cooling system yesterday.

since here in lebanon everything is soo expensive 6k in the us will probably be about 10k here if i do the work.but i might get the things from there.
what i want to know is would i have to change the clutch and if h&r suspension would be good.
what kind of turbo should i get and should i put it in the end since with little money i would upgrade the car periodically and if i put the turbo in first i might crack something or burn the engine.

why no twin turbo.
sorry for asking sooo many questions and thanks.

Twin turbo is too complicated and hard to fit on these cars, really no benefits.

I'd go with a turbo like a GT30r, GT35r, Precision 6262, or a good old fashion cheap 60-1. Those will all do your power goal.

The clutch will need to be changed for sure, go with the F1 stage 3 package on ebay. Your engine will be just fine as long as it is in decent shape now and you get a good tune.

In other news, have a big order coming in, trying to get a lot done before bimmerfest.

Add a third gauge to A pillar, and have it professionally molded together and wrapped in suede. I'll do the headliner and other pillars to match, as well as the shift boot, e brake boot, and armrest.

5mm spacers for the front.

Smaller tires for the front (rubbing issues)

New Styrofoam piece that goes under the rear bumper (to align it better)

New windshield cowl.

New used window trim and door seals.

New window seals for the coupe glass on the bottom.

Splitters.

Center carrier and guibo.

I also need to aim my driver's side headlight, change oil and filter, change coolant, clean/detail, powder coat my valve cover, and some other things I'm forgetting.

Doing last minute work in CJ fashion.

"New" guibo (from one of my auto trannies) (Yes I spelled it guibo, no giubo and will continue to do so)

New center carrier bearing

Front looks good right? I didn't think it was too bad.

Then saw the rear, man, I'm glad I fixed it now. Probably would have imploded at the Fest.

Discovered my driver's side parking brake decided to implode, blah!

All is well now though.

Plan for tomorrow:

New windshield cowl

New lower window seals

Newish door seals

Newish window trim

New rear bumper styrofoam support

Major detailing

Bimmerfest prep:

New quarter window seals, along with new used door seals, and window moldings.

Also put a new windshield cowl on.

Set tire pressure

Packed detailing supplies, oil, coolant, microfibers, car charger.

What am I missing for the show? Pretty stoked!

It's well deserved. You've put a ton of work into that car, made smart decisions about your mods, and the net result is excellent.

yeah, umm....i'm just gunna park in teh back....

that looks soooo super dooper!!

unfortunately i have not really had time to do much to cadence. i washed her (maybe the 3rd time this year...) for bfe, but really, have been too busy with stuff and junk to pour into much of a detail for her. i mean, i drive her. hard. reeeel hard. whenever i can. she's got a lot of dings in her, scratches, and whatnot.

but all 3 shades of her arktisgrau are clean (ish) now, so y'all will be able to see her in pretty much her finest.

we'll see what the trip down has in store for her...

Haha, it's hard to see outside, inside you can see some really bad bodywork by the PO.
