You can get some decent stuff off ebay, I'm running an ebay 38mm wastegate, couple people I know have had great luck with them, and no bad reports.

Hmm, I might do that. In the end I'll make a list of everything, just for you bro!

Me either! But I probably won't be able to hear the wastegate, it's plubmed into the exhaust.

Uhh, I don't want talk about the sh!t manifold I bought.

An el cheapo Ebay one, I couldn't find any nice used ones I wanted in my price range that I wanted to spend on a manifold, so I bought one off ebay. It has a chance of cracking, so we'll see how it will hold up.

Yes, it's a bottum mount, I chose that style because I'm not ready to revamp my cooling system and such. Basically, I'll go top end with a built motor, and a big turbo. Not the small one I got

Small update:

The ZF transmissions that were supposed to be shipped to us have not, the seller won't respond and hasn't charged anything. I have searched for one and found one local in the meantime. Good price too. Hopefully, with a PM back I can pick it up, then ship out the Getrag to Frank.

From the ///M or a 328. I was going to get a short shifter kit, so that should take care of my shifter linkage, but then I was thinking:

Isn't this the shifter linkage?

Or do I need that, and this?

Can someone cross reference parts numbers for me or something? All I've been told is that I need shifter linkage.

Yes what?

I'm thinking I need everything, I was looking at short throw shifters on ebay to see what they would work on.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tchlink:top:en

It only works on 328s and M3s, so I must need that. Now the question is, can I use my old linkage, or not, probably not.

Yea, so I'm going to get that kit possibly. Then reference some parts like the linkage this weekend when I work on my car. 4 other E36's there.

Matt, I'd honestly consider the one from Understeer.com. It looks to be the best quality. Unless you can find one used from a Z4. Those are SSK's for 328's and M3's. Serious.

I considered them, still am.

But I have a $150 certificate for ebay I need to use, and I need everything. Hmm, let me check total price.
