This is a rendering but I'm sure it's spot-on!
Come to TXSTYLE... ![]() • 4.4-litre V8 bi-turbo • 578bhp, 530lb ft • 155mph limited top speed • 0-62mph 4.4sec • Unlimited top speed 188mph

I am keen on this one depends on just how silly they get on price as to weather I buy one or not.

I'm thinking this will probably make me switch to an E90 M3, v8 of course. When the time comes.

Interesting rendition. I'm sure it'll be faster than the current E60 M5 for 0-60, 0-100 and 1/4 mile possibly, but the top speed unlimited is a bit lacking. I like the current M5's top unlimited speed of around 205mph - nothing faster with 4 doors out there!

... The Ultimate Driving Machine raises the "Automotive Super Sport Sedan" bar it once again. (key word "super".)
the upcoming M5 will have more horsepower and torque yet consume less fuel... utilizing a Twin-Turbo V8! It will be overall lighter than it's predecessor and I'm sure it will have a state-of-the-art transmission to transmit every iota of power to the pavement! BIGTX - Can has now? Arriving late this year as a 2011... ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Quote:

I thought it will come out in 2012. You sure it will be available in 2011?

In the near future, SSC has plans for a 220+ mph 4 door, luxury, sports sedan. But the question is when? A nice video of the Ultimate Aero (fastest street legal car in the world) at the end of this article. http://www.popularmechanics.com/cars/jay-leno/4289707 Now hurry up and make the 4 door sedan. I like! A Lot!
![]() I wonder if there will posts about faulty HPFP's? ![]() Somehow, the idea of a 500HP naturally aspirated engine has more appeal to me than a twin turbo? Not sure why though, the tuning potential of a twin turbo will be intersting. I'll buy the popcorn, but tuning one of these monsters to above 600 hp should be a walk in the park, any wagers on if we will see a 700+ hp M5??

I still like the E60 M5 better. You can't beat the sound of the v10 E60 M5 w/ miestershaft exhaust.

I can't wait to see what the F11 M5 will look like - assuming that there will be one.
And I would like to have those F10 M5 wheels on my E61!

Gasoline already costs $5+ USD a gallon in Europe. The E60/61 M5 is crazy money here as well, and BMW still sells them from Russia in the east, to the UK in the west. The E60 M5 is in no way whatsoever a "niche" car.
