totaled my 650i

Activated my dtc by mistake trying to put on my heated seat...soon as i accelerated so my car runs into a parked car...all the air bags in the car deployed...Waiting on insurance to give me the 411 on the car

Ouch! I did that once in a car by accidentally throwing it into D instead of R. Thankfully airbags didn't deploy (was an old old car).

Total loss due to airbag deployment???????

Basically the whole front of the car is damaged...All the airbags in the car deployed

OUCH! Man, sorry to hear about that man. Usually when the air bags are deployed and shows up on the accident reports, it's usually a black eye for that car because the next buyer will think that the car was in a major accident and there might be other hidden problems, even though that might not be the case. If the insurance total the car then it might work out better for you in terms of the payment you might receive. Let us know how this turns out for you man and sorry again.

Thanks guys...insurance is telling me the car is totaled. funny thing was that the impact was on the passanger side but the passanger side Airbag never deployed but the driver did. i noticed everytime i got into the car that the passanger Airbag light will come on but i never paid it any mind, if i had a passanger they could have got really hurt.

the driver owns the 6er, gotta make sure the driver is safe lol jk sorry for your loss

Sorry about the accident. The 6 has sensors in the seat so if there was no passenger then the bag will not deploy on that side.

umm had some m6 wheels and a drop with h&r springs..
im located in woodbridge NJ but got into the accident at Elizabeth

I always thought that the traction control buttons and what not are too close to the heated seat/ HVAC buttons on a lot of BMWs.
