Today on my Bimmer I...

They changed the part where you pick what section of the car you want. Its color and arranged differently.

Bought lots of Mobile 1 0w40 at a great price and ready for the weekend's work.

Picked up my bottle caps w/snow tires today, but have yet to put them on. Bring on the snow.

nice, I like ish my bottle caps too lol but still wanna get rid of em :/

and today I actually drove the car for the first time since friday... Feels good to be behind the wheel lol

Well not really today, but in the past week I have;

Replaced rear wheel bearing,
Got two new tyres for the rear of the car.

I was going to get snow tyres but the snow beat me to it, so I had to settle for...well Im not sure what they are but I tells ya, they are ****ing amazing in the snow. Not M&S but they seriously
work well in the white stuff .

Just need to get another two for the front so I can get these bloody awful V treads off and give me some cornering power!

today im painting my low rise ltw wing jet black to match my car. I'll have to find a way how to install it this week!

kinda lame but the only thing i did was really drive it to work and scraped the whole buttom at my dads office.

i drove my car from work to school and spun them everywhere because its raining and my tires suck

put in the foglights, w/new brackets, and wired in the new connectors (just had wires dangling there forever)...as well as replaced the thermo valve do-hickey and pigtail that i found when fiddling with my headlights a while back (also from a donor car)

...which was before i tried to repair the ambient temp wiring w/donor pigtail and sensor. (it made my temp read -27F intead of -37F...it was removed immediatly and stomped flat in the dirt)...

...but only after i cleaned my car up and organized the contents of the trunk...

somewhere in the middle of all of this i tried to see if the home depot lip mod would work on an m bumper. it does not. it's a few inches too short end to end. so it does not appear that this is a mod that i will be doing.

next up, going to try to mod the door trim. anyone have any old m3 emblems from the door trim they are getting rid of please let me know. i'd take them off your hands. i don't car what condition as long as it's in 1 piece.


on a side note, i also sent my mk3 to the junkyard...poor thing never had a chance

FCP Groton stuff arrived Tires for the Beyerns coming day after tomorrow Unfortunately, it will be a while before I can work on the cars (or do anything) again. More of the same health problems. And Amber needs more help with Ashlyn and I can't drive over there. Same reason.

That stinks.

Dropped it off for some paint work on the door and to remove the rear emblem.

Very. And super-fast delivery. Now I'm excited and pissed at the same time. Got the stuff and can't install it yet! GRRRR! I'm really going to be pumped when those Pirelli's get here.

I had a small spot of rust starting by the license plate holder that I wanted repainted, so I told them if they're going to repaint the trunk, pull the emblem off too

yesterday 30th november i smashed mine into a barrier no jokes!!!!!!! well peed off

while I was putting up the chrstmas lights i look down at my car from the ladder and notice that my hood badge is gone

In other news.....1/2 my tires showed up. The 255-40-18s were on the porch this morning, but the 235-40-18s are somewhere in Georgia.

My friend and I replaced my worn out clutch today and some shifter bushings. Everything was going well until we realize what a PITA it is to put back the starter because of the guide pin and since mine needs a nut on the other side with so little room to work with.

We will continue working on it tomorrow and going to do transmission fluid flush as well.

I have my 530i torn open for the vanos procedure by cn90.
