I think it might have just been rust for me, I spent like maybe an hour or 2 dozing it in WD40, pounding them, pulling, trying to pry em, siiigh :/

But yeah the car looks much nicer now

My old cowl was just gray and all the rubber seal was gone
PB blaster is the stuff that you need. I took mine off yesterday, and they came right off after a spray of that stuff.

ill put more pics up after i figure out what im doin with my foglights and headlights... one of my hid halos went out and i ran over 1 of my foglights bc my housing broke... i kinda want hid foglights as well but havent seen much of a variety of foglights... ive seen projection foglights, stock, smoked, yellow... not much of a selection and idk if any of them r hid or where id mount the ballasts... gotta get 2the root of the halos issue... bad ballast, poor wiring, halo simply blew idk yet. i know if it blew then it didnt last the 10000 hours it was supposed to last

Today I ordered new RSM's to get rid of the squeak and hopefully prevent serious damage. Yesterday I failed at replacing fuel injector gaskets as I couldn't get the fuel rail off of them. Did get to clean out the engine bay though, under the trim piece for the windshield wipers. Going to take her to the shop tomorrow and see if they can figure out where this gas smell is coming from. Hopefully just a dry-rotted hose or injector seals. Have the parts ready for them to replace if so...

Today I found out that I need valve cover gaskets, oil pan gasket, new radiator fan and bearing, and a rubber connector that connects the drive shaft to the tranny (guido?)

Today I got an estimate for paintwork that was higher than I expected...

I did track down some used parts, however.

Not much. I need to have a header/nose panel stripped, primed, and painted. The estimate was $275 (not including the cost of the part)... More than I would have thought, but perhaps that's what you get when dealing with metallic paint. It's also a top-shelf shop, too.
