I replaced my wiper blades, decided to try the RainX ones. The first wipe cleared the windshield very well, but considering the rubber on my old ones was literally falling off I can't really attest to whether they are superior to other brands.

I don't think 318ti's have a climate control computer, they're manual knobs, pretty basic. I haven't figured it out yet... Forging new ground here...

I'm considering getting those. I tried RainX a zillion years ago on my GTO when I was in high school and hated it. Every time the wipers went across the windshield, it left a thin film of nearly microscopic water droplets & air bubbles in their wake. I think RainX has gotten better in the intervening oh, um, 14 years however. I've heard decent things about the RainX wiper blades.

I just bought Bosch Icon blades a few months ago, and they are total RUBBISH. They started streaking the day after I bought them, which is especially frustrating because they are just about the most expensive wiper blade on the market. They also didn't perform very well in a mild winter storm (icing).

Today, I did an oil change and washed/waxed my car instead of installing my new shocks and springs since I am still waiting on a couple tiny bits to arrive. Also, I put my summer wheels on, even though they will have to come back off again to install the suspension components.

Yeah, RainX must have come a long way because for awhile I was using it instead of wipers (my old wiper blades were that bad) and it kept my windshield completely clear.

Glad to hear people like these blades, I figured that for $3 more than Wolly World's house brand I could hardly go wrong.

Are there any negative side effects to leaving SeaFoam in an engine for a week or two? I want to do it before I change the oil, but I only drive 50-60 miles per week and it's all in town. The website said it could be left in for a couple hundred miles, but I wanted to make sure it would be okay if those miles were spread out over a week or two.

My gloveox is now in the back seat, I found the radio harness finally, by the shifter!? I'm still trying to get the shifter surround out, can't find it's screws, still no a/c

I detailed my trunk (I know anal is an understatement), clayed and waxed my contours, and washed my engine bay. Tomorrow will be a full exterior clay, paint correction, and wax.

You should see them, they are all scratched to hell and chipped paint and whatnot (I payed about 25 bucks a wheel for them), but they look so much better now that they are properly cleaned.

Clean is good. When I bought the Beyerns for the 6er they were pretty clean, but I took them in the house one at a time over a period of a week and scrubbed them with a toothbrush and cleaner, then polished them. My wife got real tired of having wheels in the living room.

She's pretty tolerant, but we have a small house, and tripping over 18" wheels got old fast.
