It's illegal everywhere. You can have red lights in most states, but not blue and red. You'll get thrown in jail faster than you thought was possible and charged with impersonating a police officer. Not a charge you want to face... All someone has to do is call your license plate in and you'll have a real cop in your rear view mirror in minutes.

Stop being stupid and take them out.

Yeah, not only does it prevent people from wanting to street race so they can tell stories about it, but it also minimizes bozos from making up "I caught a fish THIIIISSS big" stories.

That might be OK in Lithuania, but it would get you arrested and your car confiscated in Alabama, USA.

you need a special permit from either the police or FD in massachusetts to have blue or red lights. which usually entails, you being a member of either department. not worth going to jail over something that is tacky.

So that is the main difference that I live in Lithuania, and U are from US. You would get in jail for that. I will get 100$ bill for that.. Different laws, different salarys and economical situation

On my drive home from school, 418 miles carrying about 400 pounds of stuff plus 190 pounds of my fat ass, through the mountains in West Virginia I averaged 29.4 MPG.

How do you guys get such good mileage? I can only get 22 city and like 27ish highway. And this is at a reasonable speed, like 70 on the highway? Hmm...

Yeah, for regular driving, I usually shift at 2-2.5k, and get into 5th as soon as is reasonably possible. I'm rock steady at 22city/32ish (often higher) on the freeway going 65 in most cases.

Must be that Royal Purple I have in the transmission and differential....

I put plasti dip on my grill slats and rear bumper trim. Read about it on here a few days ago about putting it on the grill. My bumper trim was bad so I put it on both. Tried it and it looks good so far.

Yesterday, I installed a new post cat O2 sensor, which got rid of my P0420 fault code I was getting. Drove it over a hundred miles on the highway with no CEL yet. Before the CEL would come on in about 10 to 15 minutes of highway driving.
