Not if you have Matt's suspension.
Body roll is preferably controlled by the springs and not sway bars, which is why race cars often run insanely stiff springs, but comparatively thin sway bars. Since we cannot get away with running such stiff springs on the street, we have to control body roll by using thicker sway bars and softer springs.

Well technically I have one of the worst suspensions here.....
![]() Still on badly blown OEM shocks and lowering springs. All OEM bushings until recently. My coilovers will be here shortly though. |

Matt, the TRM coilovers don't use a rear sway, right?

TRM coilovers.
I don't know of any kit out there, powerflex sells a lot, and I think AKG sells ALL of them. |

You can, but it's recommended not to.
So that saves money, plus they include camber plates, plus front sway bar end links, and rear shock mounts. I still have a ton of other things to order though, suspension wise. |

I've had these for quite some time now lol. Bottle cap tires were bald and it was near impossible to accelerate without spinning the rear wheels so I decided to buy a new set of wheels with tires instead of dropping a few hundred on new 14" tires lol. Win/win...
Plus, m50 + 14's = spinning all day. I didnt get to actually enjoy driving the car till I got these wheels.

Today I vacuumed out the interior and did my quarterly under-hood cleaning in preparation for tomorrow's gigantic car show at the track. Should be over 1300 cars there, but a solid 50% of them will probably be annoying Hondas with fart cans. Another 20% will be stupid FWD VWs with plaid all over everything (driven by ridiculous owners who wear flat-brimmed hats, drink Monster soda (whatever that is), and wear pants that are somehow simultaneously absurdly tight in the legs, yet also baggy in the ass), and the remaining 30% will actually be interesting cars.
When I was cleaning in the engine bay, one of the rubber hoses connected to the secondary air pump all but disintegrated as I cleaned it, so I stopped by the parts store and cut a length of new rubber hose (wonder what the dealer would have charged for the same part - I paid $0.59). I have yet to install it, since I got a late start today and daylight is so scarce. Anyway, I'm going to wake up early tomorrow, brew some strong coffee, put it in a thermos, head to the car wash to clean the outside of the car, and then roll out to the track. I'll be taking some photos tomorrow (although it will be hard with such a huge crowd), and I'm also going to carry a notepad to tally up the make/model of every car I see broken down. The last time I participated in a big event like this, which was a 3 hour drive across the mountains with over 1000 cars, about 95% of broken down cars were VW or Audi products.

Today I finally installed my amp and sub in my 323is. Once I was confident I knew which wires on the factory amp to tap into, it was pretty straightforward.
