Wooohoooooo! FINALLY got the DS window adjusted and working smoothly on Bebe, so she now has both windows working, both door panels back in place (after substantial repair) and after all that I washed her and did a quick detailing job before heading to the Gulf Coast Chapter BMW-CCA meeting. It felt good to have her back together and looking decent again. If only I could get the paint resprayed. A good respray will cost more than what she's worth, so I watch the clear coat peel off a little at a time.

Got an alignment yesterday at bmw, my car had no problem clearing the alignment rack with my bumper off

rear toe was .3 of a degree off, the front was terrible. total toe in the front was 4.5 degrees with 2.25 on each side, camber in the rear is 3.5 degree's and in the front is 2.5

Today I installed new front pads and rotors, iridium plugs, and air filter. I'll do the cabin filter later next week when it arrives.

Not terrible I guess. Most indys around here charge $100. I've got a friend that's hooking me up with one for $30. I've just got to get that bolt out.

Good grief, that looks like you gnawed the pipes in two. You did use the side of the hacksaw blades that have the teeth on them, didn't you?

I think he's trying to install some headers, but why he had to butcher the Y pipe, I don't understand.

With him saying not nice things about smog my money is on him trying to put his oem mid-pipe back on to pass emissions testing in the nazi state.

Yeah goingback to stock everything. The reason I cut the y pipe is because it was all one peice from the headers and I needed to seperate each header to remove them...

And the moral of the story is to use removable exhaust flanges when connecting exhaust sections
