Well, crap, I'll have to wait another day to finish then. Nobody had the bump stops to fit locally. They could have them in 24 hours...... and none of them were a few dollars. $25-$30 each, even the cheapest ones.

Yeah, it's been a while. I've got lots of cosmetic things I want to do, and none of them are fun. That list includes:

- Replace rear quarter window seals
- Replace rear quarter window lower plastic trim
- Replace rear window rubber trim
- Paint shadow line trim with PlastiDip
- Replace cowl cover
- Replace door handle gaskets

The mechanical upgrades will come first, however.

I need to do all of those things as well, minus the plasti dip (sh!t sucks) and door handles.

All the trim is real expensive though. I want new door seals too.

Damn Kenny! That's pretty hard to do if the door handle screws are in place and engaged. That totally sucks!

it tore the fiber board that is fixed with metal clips near the window and the christmas tree clips around the door were already toast from the last time i took it to a $tealer to have the windows looked at. whatever. I'm slowing giving less Fxuks about the interior. i got my radio in and working today, so i'm happy for now.

That's going to be the worst job of all. So simple, yet SO difficult to get access to do it.

Looking good, Karl!

Car is looking great Karl! You always find great back drops for your photos!

I need to do the gaskets on mine too. Been putting it off just because it's such a PITA.

Just the gasket isn't that hard, though. The only tricky part is locating the tab to lock the trim back in place. Pushing the tab to release the trim isn't hard once you get the hang of it.

Leaving it on? I've read that you take them off to do this.

The removal just sounds tricky and easy to break.

I can tape pretty well it just seems like I wouldnt be able to nail every part perfectly. O well.

Worst case scenario it still looks better than it does now.

Remember telling me to clean out the engine bay of the E30 once we had the engine out?

Tadaaaaaaaah!

Eddie scrubbed on it for three hours today while I finished up the rear suspension upgrades and started taking out the front suspension for the upgrades on that end. I don't think the engine bay has been this clean since it rolled off the line in Dec. 1985.

It really does look great Ken! You gonna hit that brake booster housing with some flat black while you've got easy access to it?

Got the new badges for the center caps in the style 5's. Guy in Thailand makes 'em. $22 for the set including shipping and they take Paypal so it's no risk purchase.
