FINALLY got a chance to get back to working on the E36, got the crank sensor changed out, time to put everything back together.

But seriously...some funny sh*t went down in my engine bay. Dropped a nut so I was fishing for it with my pick up tool. Instead, I got a plastic fork, McDonalds ketchup packet, green-army-man-size plastic hand grenade (for real) and some broken plastic pieces.

A hand grenade? Seriously?

Looks good. The bulb sockets can be a little tricky to get just right, but once you do, you'll never have to worry about it again.

Word of advice on the flex disk and center support bearing.

Use a torch to heat up the exhaust manifold nuts before you remove them. Also use PB blaster or equivalent. If it doesn't come off relatively easy with a breaker bar, stop and give it more heat/PB Blaster. This is so you don't snap one of the exhaust manifold studs. It's a huge PITA if you do. Ask me how I know.

got the e28 running better, but the check engine light keeps flashing...even koeo...

but it'll bounce off rev limiter. quite nicely, too...

want to see about swapping out the airflow meter to a maf, both are 4 wires, but want to get the check engine lightthing done first. no sense if trying to mod a broken car, y'know...

then i mocked cadence...... (hehehehehee...)

Washed the 328 today,

Then my wife comes out to ask if I was done, I said yeah just have to dry it.
She says oh there is a dying step?

Ha.... Silly wife.

Ohh I also painted the soon to be babies room, and the master bedroom.
