Discovered why my washer fluid doesn't work... Pump is shot, and leaking.

Removed the tank to clean it and ordered a new pump.

Picked up the car today from the garage.

Oil change is complete (full synth 5w30)
Coolant has been flushed, filled and bled.
Fog light was replaced
Gave me a list of items that I knew, and two that I didn't. The trans fluid is weeping from the rear output shaft. Not enough to do anything yet.
Both power steering lines are leaking

And for the complete shock.... My head gasket is leaking coolant behind #6. Its a small amount, and should be watched as its not affecting anything else. Ouch. After this winter I'll tackle that.

And for a funny moment. My washer pump has been leaking and recently stopped working. I took it out and the tank to clean/replace. But never put it back in before dropping it off to him. So my check light shows "wash fluid low"
He said to me "you know why your washer doesn't work? You're missing the pump, and tank!"
Naturally I messed with him, and said "wut??? Are you serious???" lol

All in all everything seems great. Engine is quite again (I was down a quart due to leaking from VCG).

Now, I need to order rear shocks, shock mounts, and reenforcement plates I guess. Hoping to get to that in the next few weeks.

Scheduled an appointment with the shop for the 540i next Tuesday to get them to diagnose all of its issues.

My predictions are its going to need endlinks/tie rods or CABs up front, a new radiator/hose refresh or valley pan gasket, a new high pressure oil line, and a set of belts.

ordered some door panel clips. green eye auto has them for $3.00 @ 50. i ordered 2 bags.

shipping was 6.50 priority, so that's gonna come out to $0.125 each.

waaay better than $0.99 @ from some of the other sites.

I did the same thing. I ordered a box of 50 cuz it was cheaper...I only have like 3 or 4 left.

I've fixed a lot of door panels in the past year.

I needed a capacitor for the climate control, was cheaper to buy 17 online than one from Radio Shack. Anyone need their digital climate control fixed?

Today I ditched the ricer corners that were only temps.....They came as freebies with the headlights, my stockers didn't hold up very well during the headlight swap..

Next, I replaced both driving lights the drivers side took a hit and was cracked..

Just goes to show, if you're not gentle with those things, they cause you more pain than pleasure.
