belt still could be that.....

It still could be that, but going off what happened to me it doesn't sound like the alternator. When I turned on my fog lights the thing sounded like a hyeena.

Brought the M3 home... needs more work than I thought... still 146k miles complete car for $3000... not too shabby...

Cl posting pics, 95 M3... Auto (not for long), 146k miles, needs A wheel bearing, some paint and a good cleaning...

Really happy with purchase, have receipts from Shelly BMW with tons of maintenance work, vanos rebuilt, at around 130k...

It's basically a $6000 M3 that still needs $3k.

Today on my Bimmer, I hit 185,000 miles. And then, I hit a deer.

This is why we own shotguns. Sorry man you alright looks like it messed the fender up pretty dam bad.

if that's what a fubar'd alternator sounds like, then there is something entirely different wrong in my belt trane.

my old/broken didnt sound like that not sure why

Dino, sounds normal to me.

My car is making a higher pitched whine. I think it goes away once the car gets warm though. I'll have to check it out more.

Damn, that sucks. Looks like the front fender is totally knackered. Did it damage the door, too?

I hit a deer back when I lived in Michigan. It's a rite of passage if you grow up there... Every single one of my friends has hit a deer at some point, too.

New bulbs in cluster, so pretty. Also put clear corners in...think I'm going back to my smoked ones...will post pic later for opinions

Somewhere in the middle would be best. Your smoked corners are very dark, and your clear corners are very light. I'd smoke your clear corners to about half the darkness of your currently smoked corners.
