I thought you were fairly close to my age, no?

Personal injury lawyers are insane, they'll go after anything of value. Can even garnish future wages, go against your life insurance policy savings, retirement accounts, etc. It's just a nice peace of mind in case anything catastrophic were to happen. Given that I had more than one vehicle and a boat, it was cheaper to move everything down to the minimum underlying amount and add the umbrella rather than having higher liability coverage on everything that could cause damage to anyone.

^This^ We've carried an umbrella policy for at least 20 years. They're relatively inexpensive and the cost goes down as you get more mature (older) for a larger $$ amount.
When you're young and broke and have nothing of real value you don't need it but as you build your life and accumulate net worth It can keep you from getting wiped out by one mistake at the wrong time.

Well I guess I'll see how the single stage comes out on your car.

I am seriously looking for a 3rd party to paint my car, though. Would be willing to do as much of the prep as possible.

Yeah, gotta use the right glue. I found that out the hard way, too. Got glue guns do not work.

Looks pretty good, but it's hard to tell from those pictures. Do you think it will require buffing often to keep it looking nice?

The glue hasn't been an issue for me, it's the window regulator problems I have been having which is a constant battle between the gremlins and me. Frequently removing the door panel causes those clips to break, might as well do it all to prevent another issue down the road.

Oh hai, guys.

Pretty sure all single stage paints require buffing to keep looking nice.

Everybody in your family is freakishly tall. Like "hunt geese with a rake" tall. I expect the Randys to be drafted by the WNBA before they're out of elementary school.
