Sounds like an awesome setup.

However, you think that running e85 could've caused that messed up ring? Just wondering.

E85 is safer for hooning than pump gas. Much less chance for pre-ignition.........

Yeah, I was just wondering because he's the only guy I know running e85 on a non-built e36 engine. Also I rarely hear of piston rings failing that badly in E36s.

Oops, I meant e46. Yeah, I definitely think it was messed up beforehand now that you say it was smoking.

Drove the 633 to my former workplace for a visit. Car worked fine, but I'm paying for having been up and about before I was really well. I hope I haven't set myself back too far.

First day I've been able to get up and around and just overdid it a bit. I'm ok, just tired out, and tired of being tired! All I can think about is all the stuff I need or want to be doing, and can't.

None the less, don't push it too much or you'll be laid up for a month. I can imagine it stinks to feel crappy all the time hope you get better soon.

I've had circulatory problems (lymphatic system clogged up due to previous injuries) in my left leg for 20 years. The blood flow in and out is fine, better than fine, but the old lymphatic system is a traffic jam. Every once in a while, usually as a result of a bruise or hard bump, it will get overwhelmed and be unable to clear the excess (waste) fluid, and it get's infected. I usually don't have much warning, since it's swollen all the time. Just all of a sudden I get chills and fever and it turns real red. It's actually toxic shock. Then I go on antibiotics and strong pain meds (it's pretty painful) and spend my days with my leg propped up and heat on it, which is miserable in itself. That's what happened two weeks ago. As these attacks go, this one has been pretty mild. I was off work for six weeks once, went back too quick, and was off an additional 2 weeks after trying to work two days and having to go home sick again. Try going two months without a paycheck. (I'd used up all my sick leave). At least I still had a job when I came back. Not many places would hold a job for you that long.

Sooner?

You and Siri don't get along too well, do you?

Any errors in this post are purely Swype's fault, not mine.

She and I are still not speaking.

But in this case I meant sponsor. Ken is my BMW-CCA "sponsor".
