Yes, it measures your air to fuel ratio which is critical and an absolute must on turboed cars. The wideband kit usually includes the gauge, wiring, and a new O2 sensor which replaces your old one. It's called a wideband because it reads a much wider scale of air to fuel ratios than the stock O2 sensor. I'm actually very surprised the PO of that car didn't install one.
Yes, like that AEM one, but I wouldn't get one with a needle. In this case, a digital screen is best. Like this http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Innov...Q5fAccessories AEM is good, but get a digital output monitor like I said. I went with the Prosport kit just because it seemed of good quality, and I wanted to test it out. If it's junk, I will be getting the Innovate kit above. Also, get one of these, sell me your turbo timer, and buy oil temp or water temp or whatever you would like to go along with the wideband. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/BMW-e...item3358c5eec8 Last edited by FenderBender; 01-18-2010 at 11:43 AM. |

Still waiting
My wife the other night came home and had problems with the Caravan she drives Well it's to old, over 220kSo I'm going to buy her a older Scion XB, she loves the original versions. So it's one M3 or the other So it might be gone? Don't want to sell it and the other guy change his mind and then have nothing So I'm walking a tight rope of what should I do?? Don't want the buyer to find something else either

She loves mini vans
But she likes imports so I can't complain, but with 3 kids the Scion would be the best for family trips, visits etc.
