They look fine to me. I would make sure to build them at least 10" wide, and like the idea of cross braces for stability. For someone that can't afford or doesn't have room for a lift, ramps like that are a great idea. 2X10s on a 12" or 16" spaced braced frame are more than up to the task of supporting a 3500lbs car.
