As a newby to the BMW world. I am playing on the set up of my 2010 E64. I have a few choices and thought maybe your guys can post your experiences. Hamann Quad tip exhaust? Dinan Exhaust or and old Britalman? All are available to me right now. Just getting my front and rear Alpina spoilers painted and new brakes installed this month. next month is intake and exhaust. Experiences anyone??

Dinan is very conservative, not much louder than stock. I've only heard the Hamman in videos and it sounded great. The Britalman sounds amazing though, if I could get my hands on one I would grab that in a heartbeat.

Agreed. have listened to all three on line. Hamann is real nice, but quad tips in stock bumper even LCI like mine is issue. Don't want to cut up bumper or replace at this point. This stuff is a lot more expensive than domestics or trucks or even Minis!
The Britalman is really nice sounding, but it has been on two cars already. It is my first choice, then the Dinan because of the coordination with the Dinan intake and computer mods as a package. I have had intake, exhaust and such from a single company in the past with great results (NM Engineering on my Mini). Waiting on word if the Britalman is mine or not. Then on with the rest...To Be Continued. |

Install complete.
Let the money pit begin! Exhaust sounds exactly like I wanted. Quiet, but awesome whenyou get on it! That plus the intake. Lowered the idle to 500 rpm, but smooth. A little stumble off on quick starts until she gets used to the increase in airflow. Also put in cross drilled and slotted rotos and Stop Tech pads. very nice! Next is spoiler paint and install, gloss black grill and side marker. Pure white LED for angel eyes. Afterwards will be KW coilovers. Man they are expensive!!!
