I discovered that my Radio Display says TI+ when it is getting traffic information from the local radio stations.

For my F12/13 owners - I noticed that when trying to clean the windshield, the wipers dont lift like they did in the e63/64. The wiper arms swivel easily with a pull of the arm to expose them fully and the wiper blades can be pulled off of the window.

Took me a while to find the switch for the heated steering wheel.

I discovered that I have the hottest car on the block.

Three of us converged on the Mass. Pike this morning. A coupe. an M coupe and me in my vert. Very unusual. I typically see only two or three a week.

+1 I have the only 6 in my area. Although if I drive around the obvious areas like Beverly Hills & Hollywood I'll see some brothers & sisters

I have an 04 645ci and had the software updated and I now have bluetooth but I would love to know how to play music through it as well....

You can set Navigation to go from Day/Night mode Automatically.
My old 335 had to be set manually each day/night.

I'd like to know how to do this.

When I had my 335 I had to manually make the Navigation go from Day to Night (and do so each time I wanted to switch from the Day/Night mode.)

On the 6 (2012's for sure/not sure about years prior) series you can set it to automatically switch from Day to Night mode--so that the Night Sky and stars show on the Nav when it get's dark out. I think it happens as the headlights come on automatically.

I am trying to recall exactly how (not in front of vehicle)--will post better when I am.

In Navigation> Right Push iDrive-Brings up settings.>Click Settings.
Either right there or buried a step or two within you will see the option to:
>Click Day Mode
>Click Night Mode
>Automatic.
Choose Automatic.

It's in the same area where you see choice for 3D Perspective and Local Traffic etc.

Had my car nearly 6 years now and I learnt something new!
If I turn my ignition off with the wipers on, they stop in the position at which the ignition was switched off and when the ignition is turned back on they do not automatically go to the rest position, you have to make them.
First car I have had were the wipers don't automatically go to the rest position irrespective of the ignition being off or on..................

Ok so I know how to open the windows and sunroof by holding down the unlock button on the key but how do I get everything to close back up once I get out with the key???

Do a search for the specific update you'll need done at the dealership.

I discovered I love my 04 645Ci 24 k miles even more than my 07 550i 52k miles...what a treat to drive either, although I have to 'steal' the 5 from my wife when I need 3 or more seats!
