Feels pretty much the same down here though the city has been complaining about lack of resources to pay them so that may be why. Though I did think it was funny that a biker cop was sitting in front of Pacific BMW on Sunday for their Accessories Fest. I'd like to know just how many tickets he wrote that afternoon.

Hi I love my BMW but I hate Rusnak BMW Service Department -- Has anyone else had any problems with them? Scott Gomez just put me through the most horrendous car service experience of my life!

I had a broken radiator vent tube. Had the car flat-bedded there. Later that day he calls me up and said it was done. When I showed up, he tells me that is was a $200 fix. Hmmm, no estimate courtesy call. On top of that after a standard scope service that was also due, they gave me back the car low on oil. As well as not fixing the resevoir tank that was also defective. When questioned about the low oil he stated that, "It is not part of standard serve to check the oil." As I saw what was happening I recorded the whole conversation with my iphone, told him that and reported the whole incident to BMW NA. BMW NA had me take the car to another dealer to confirm what I reported, then finish the repair. I also disputed the charges with AMEX, who found in my favor only giving Rusnak the $50 that I should have been charged. Other people have commented on Bob Smith problems. I've had my share there too, but I now only deal with Gilbert at Bob Smith, and he treats both my wife and I very well, with both of our cars. Good Luck, SteveO
