bmw e21 with 745i turbo

havent posted here for a wile. been really busy. last time i was here when i was buying my shop.
i did end up buying that place by the way. and i am building 5 track e36 bmw's now to rent them on the tracks in the summer.

anyway.. here is my white e21 that i have installed 745i turbo in. i have been working on this car for about 3 years now. finally i got it done.

now i am getting ready to pull the engine out of my other e21 copper one and i am going to install an m6 engine in there with a 5 speed.
wish me luck on this project.

Car looks great. You can really tell that you have put a lot of hard work into the car. I am sure you are excited to finally have the car complete, but you probably already have more things that you want to do to it.

and that's the second car i am building right now. another e21 with the m6 drivetrain including the diff also.

was it hard putting that engine in? did you have to change any BIG??
was it a simple hook up?

there's nothing simple with e21. it's much easier putting that engine in an e30..

tons of things you have to do here's some

you need 323 subframe
fabricate engine mounts
fabricate trans mount
'cut the shifter tower and reweld it. about 7 inch usually. depend on the car
cut the driveshaft. reweld it and balance it. that's usually $200

radiator and electric fan from an e24

oil cooler. turbo cooler..

need to cut around the firewall and take about 6 inches around where the trans mount to fit

a lot of money and time. been working on this car for about 5 years now. aghh
