02 sensor test

i had to remove the exaust system to access the drive shaft to change out the guibo.while it wasb down i took out the 02 sensor to put anti seize on the threads in case i had to change it in the future . ive had trouble in the past with 02 sensors so i thought it would be smart. of course i had the system leaning on the wall and when it slid to the floor the only thing holding it up was the 02 sensor wire . i dont know if i screwed upm the wiring so would some one please send me some basic info on testing these sensors so i can replace it standing on my two feet if need be.................... thank you ....................fellow bmw lover
