93' 740i Engine stalls

I have had this car 2 years no problems. But within the last two weeks it has been stalling about once a week, no codes, no errors check engine ok, have had the mass air flow sensor, fuel filters, and (the fan clutch-maybe non related but needed to be replaced). Stalls while sitting at light. Any suggestions?

When my '94 740 did that it was the crank position sensor going bad. It had gotten to the point off momentarily shutting off while moving too.

First check the idle control valve for sticking though.

How is your idle? Rough or smooth?

I will check the crank position sensor and the idle control valve. My idle is smooth, until is hickups and shuts off.

Ok the problem was oxygen sensor #2, and a vaccum leak. All problems resolved.
