Underseat Subwoofer Enclosure depth?

does anyone know what clearance i have in terms of driver depth? I know the Earthquake SWS is a popular choice for replacing the OEM by many (2.25"), but the speaker i was considering has a depth of 2.75".

Thanks

Can anyone here confirm?

He seems to use some wood there, perhaps as a stand off.

I believe he put in a 6.5" driver in the 8" enclosure, so made an adapter plate of some type. That looks like the Dynaudio 162, which has a depth of 2.44" (62mm).

Plus perhaps 0.5-1cm for the wood thickness?

Would have to subtract the wood thickness from total allowed depth actually, as the board would raise the back of the magnet up... Good call though!
