How do you replace Check Engine Light?
I have a 1997 BMW 740i. The car was sending a transmission fault code but drove fine. The Check Engine light was on for quite a while. I finally replaced the transmission but then the Check Engine Light burned out. How do I replace it.

It's a LED soldered onto the gauge cluster circuit board. It's not easily replaceable

Thank you
I guess I'll need a qualified mechanic.
Thanks, Brewster |

To the OP : Remove the cluster and double check the bulbs, they can be bought at the dealership for a few bucks.
