This is a fantastic product! I've used it for 6 months, loved it to bits coz it gets rid of the flat spots during the first instance of hitting the pedal. It wakes the beast up right away, and thats only at map number 1. Map 2 is pretty much the ideal driving style for me. Map 3 is a bit out of hand. Map 4 is totally crazy, rodeo style.
After I got my ride tuned, I simply switch the device off coz I don't need it anymore. But for guys who have yet to tune the transmission in your 6er, you are going to love this. And at that price? It's a friggin BARGAIN. Plug and play. Installed in less than 10minutes.

Help me understand...
This product sounds awesome.
What does this device do? Help me understand... Modify the transmission to be more aggressive? Modify engine software? Impact on warranty? What do dealers say? Can you plug it in and take it out when you want? Thanks

It can be easily removed, just one screw to take the pedal out and the rest is simply plug and play.
It alters the signal strength to fool the ECU that you're hitting the pedal more than what your right foot is actually doing, kinda like a multiplyer?

I just got the booster yesterday. Installed it in like 5 mins. Went out for a drive - "Active Steering Mulfunction" sign appears. I turned the car off and on a couple times and warning still on. After I drove for an hour and turned car on and off a few times the warning has disappeared. Oh, and the Active Steering came back. Did anyone ever had this problem?
P.S.: Booster works wonders though
