Something must have changed. I don't see the 'Send' option anymore. There are only three options - 'Print' , 'E-mail', and ' Link'.

The Send option is back; when I click on it the only option (on the left of the pop-up) is Email. There should be other options such as GPS and Car.

You have to make sure your location you have entered is specific enough. I had just the email come up before when I just entered the name of the location and had to go back and enter the actual street address and then was able to send to car.

Hi everybody,

I wanted to let you all know that the Maps team is aware of this issue and is working to fix the feature soon. I know this is an important feature for several users and I can assure you that it's not our intention to remove it from Google Maps.

I'll post an udpate here when I hear more news!

Thanks for your patience.

I know I use it all the time. You can do it on the BMW assist site as well until Google get their finger out and fix it.

The latest update is (from the google support forum) that Google is having some technical issues with the feature and as a result is working on fixing it, but in the time being has removed the feature from Google Maps. However, according to Garmin, who has been in contact with Google, says the problem should be fixed within a couple of days...

Thanks for the update. This is one feature that I really have used in both our vehicles. Am certainly looking forward to its return.

I Miss Send to Car option from google maps

Man, can't wait for this feature to become live again. In the meantime, I've been adding contacts in my phone along with addresses and then when I'm in the car, I goto my contacts and select a specific contact for destination.

Does BMW has your right e-mail address? That is your account number with BMW Assist.
