Question Are there brighter LEDs for the door handle puddle light?

I see the new 3 series that has super bright LED on the door handle when the door is opened, and I noticed mine is not as bright as those, are there any vendor that sells those and is there a DIY on replacing those puddle lamp on the handle?

I did. but none of those lights are for the door handle I thought... just the footwell ones and the interior ones ? those were all I found on his and umnitza and E92-lighting

Don't change them. You can have the dealer set them at higher intensity. They have different settings depending on how bright you want them.

I wonder if there is a DIY on this, since there is a way to reset all the warnings, to get into the NAV...etc wonder perhaps if there is a way to do the light intensity? anyone?

I'm guessing, just guessing that the 745i also has adjustment in the hidden menu. I found several hidden layers, but backed out of it because I had to roll out. I know u can adjust beeps, alarm beeps, etc, Next time I do it I'll write it down, its the only way to remember.

Pathway lighting is your headlights remaining on for a settable amount of time so you can see to walk away from the car. Not the puddle light that is under my mirror.

Ahh, then sunny was right. You can adjust the time of how long they stay on. My bad! I asked my SA, he said he'll look into it to see how you can make them brighter

It may be under one of Keifs posts under battery, I would have to go into it and write it down, so that I don't miss/leave out a step, but fairly easy to do. Start by adding last four no's of your Vin and keep that no. handy. The next steps will involve pushing in the black mielage button on left of Tach display. From there I need more info. I don't have my 7 handy right now. Maybe someone else with their 7 and the knowledge can help me out.
