supercharger!!!!

im new to the site and have a few questions for anyone willing to take the time to answer.....i bought my 04 m3 about 8 months ago and love it but i want more hp and the first thing that came to mind was a supercharger. could i just have one installed or would i need something before doing that and if i can then what brand should i get? and it has the smg transmission does that make a difference?

But it all depends on how much money your willing to spend.

But with enough money you could have a enzo killer.

well im having the service done on it in a few days have about 75 miles before its time but after i spend the 1-2k having that done i dont want to spend anymore than 3k if thats possible? would i need bigger breaks and should i get a new exhaust and if so what kind?

$3K is not nearly enough for a supercharger. Figure on $7K minimum. Active Autowerkes is $8,495. Plus installation.

so then what could i do worth doing for 3k?

Honestly? Nothing for the M3 is going to make a huge difference unless you go FI.

Like you said previously, it definately wouldn't hurt to upgrade your brakes and suspension to go along with the extra power.

You will need to upgrade the suspension and brakes,with the supercharger you can remove it when selling unlike a turbo.

3k will get you some nice bolt ons. but if you really want a supercharger and even if you get a used one i don't think you'll be paying less then 5 or 6k

I say do the suspension now. Save the rest and get the supercharger then.
