just had some wet snow, too heavy for the old ass JD 320 to throw, so i had to do it (am too old for this sss), picked up a exterior mirror for the wife pacifica that she busted up, got it off ebay, at least $30 less than local junk yard wanted ( why is canada so freaking expensive and why am i paying for something she fudged up?). finally got my linksys ata so i can start messing with voip again and am hoping to get my 35mm lens within the week so it can sit in my camera bag (WTF),. need to get a job..

you should do pictures and video. Can never go wrong with more DIY pics and vids. Every one does things a different way so it's nice to see

You still have to fashion your own tools in Canada? Wow, talk about living in the stone age.

You need to come down south of the border and join the civilization...

Just kidding, bro. Couldn't resist.

Yeah, so um, I did the tie rods and my BF did the trans mounts, and yeah, um, I didn't document a darn thing. I was going to then my bf made a really good point about grease and my Nikon D90 not mixing. The tie rods were not hard at all! I had to have a little help loosening and tightening a nut and a bolt but the rest was a cinch. My bf had a conniption fit over me and my hands sqeezing between the trans and that bracket, so i gave in and let him do it. Total time for both about 1.5 hrs.

Anywho, got the car right down for an alignment (only 1 degree out btw, not terrible for a first timer0 and my steering is super tight. I think Lucy's pulling a little to the right now but I'll take her for a longer drive tomorrow and see what's going on. It's pretty darn windy today and the roads in this area are quite pitched for water drainage so hopefully it's just those factors.

I was about to throw some 'bows on an old lady yesterday! She almost rear-ended me twice and was continuously up my a$$ in heavy traffic. I was finally able to get into another lane and let her pass me, and what do you know, three stop lights up there she was with her hood crumpled and shoved up/under a Dodge Ram's bumper. HAHA, victory was mine. I'm so glad she hit the truck and not me, I'd hate to gone to jail for killing an old lady.

I think they reduce your sentence if they determine she was really old and close to death anyway .

Lesson learned: don't make your car perfect otherwise old lady controlled by evil will try to do more damage to your "baby"
