Maybe, but the exhaust note is incredible.

If it's in a public place expect to pay. That would be a lot of cash for 30 people - get togethers would never happen.

Yeah, that's what we decided too. (We're hosting.) We made sure to put "no gifts " on the invite because I think it would be tacky if people felt obligated to bring a gift and then also had to buy their own food & drink.

How the Government REALLY works....

Three contractors are bidding to fix a broken fence at the White House. One is from Chicago, another is from Tennessee and the third is from Montana. All three go with a White House official to examine the fence.

The Montana contractor takes out a tape measure and does some measuring, then works some figures with a pencil. “Well," he says, “I figure the job will run about $900. That's $400 for materials, $400 for my crew and $100 profit for me."

The Tennessee contractor also does some measuring and figuring, then says,” I can do this job for $700. That's $300 for materials, $300 for my crew and $100 profit for me."

The Chicago contractor doesn't measure or figure, but leans over to the White House official and whispers,"$2, 700."

The official, incredulous, says, “You didn't even measure like the other guys!!! How did you come up with such a high figure!?

The Chicago contractor whispers back, "$1000 for me, $1000 for you, and we hire the knucklehead from Tennessee to fix the fence."

"Done!" replies the government official.

8 miles... nice.

And I like the little icon on the speedo telling you the wings are deployed.

It's an absolute blast! 200hp, 2700lbs, RWD, 6 speed manual. It's pretty much the perfect recipe for fun.

So, the power-to-weight ratio is just about identical to the ZHP`s, which should make for some *very* lively backroad cut-and-thrust....there`s not much better than a nice peppy, lightweight car on a twisty road.

Yeah I think it'll be a great car to drive - hopefully you can disable all the electronic nannies to really have some fun tossing it around. Toyota is also selling a version of the car under the Scion brand (I think they're calling it the FRS). Basically the same car, but there are some minor aesthetic differences and the Scion version has different suspension (softer springs, stiffer shocks - car and driver said it understeered less than the Subaru version)

This is a 1959 Ferrari 250 GT Type 1. One of 39 built. It belongs to a customer who took me out for a ride thursday. The sound of it is amazing. My car steers, accelerates and stops better, but I can't think of anything else I would want to drive to San Tropez in. And now that I've been in a $2million Ferrari, the rest of my life is all downhill from here.

A few years back, I met a guy who lives somewhere up near you, IIRC, his name was Chuck, he drove a very nice late-80s, all-black BMW 850Ci (12 cylinder). Absolutely great GT car, made me want to throw a duffel in the trunk and drive Route 50 from Bawlamer to Sacramento....do you know him ?

Don't know him by name. The guy who owns the GT in the photos lives in Harding. I think if you could peek inside some of the barns around here, you might see some amazing, rare cars.
