New member with pics

Hi Guys,

I joined a while ago but haven't shared pics yet.

Here's my vital statistics:

MY02 735i - 3.6L V8
47,000 km's = 29,204 mi's (happy motoring with no problems yet )
Titan Silver
Lowered 1" on Eibach Pro Sport Springs
Factory 19" Wheels with H&R Spacers - 15/20mm F/R

I welcome any feedback and suggestions you have to enhance my 7's look.

Beautiful car but pics are waay too big need to edit ur post and resize those bro...

Idk how u guys drive with the steering wheels on the right side guess its just what ur used to, I used 2 work for the postal service we had the steering wheel on the right as well which was weird because the drivers side was next to the sidewalk but I got used to it.

I used to drive Japanese car with right side steering wheel and stick shift, in the beginning always when i need to shift up i used to grab my door handle and my friend make a fun on me: "do you want get out? stop the car first" lol, but can you tell me how you using iDrive with left hand, its like have a computer mouse on the left side?

Welcome, nice 7.. Have to agree with Wil, photos too large, lol. One question is that Alcohol free zone sign meant for pedestrians or drivers?

Looks great, nice color, enjoy it.

Only thing that I don't like is those yellow blinkers at the headlights and the tailights.

Any idea why this car has yellow blinkers instead of the ones that are on most 7 series.

I was going to say the same. Nevertheless, it's a beautiful and clean car. Maybe it's a european version?

I think the early euro e65 versions were this way, and then they were revised, I'm talking about mostly 2002 and 2003 euro models

Thus the orange side markers, front and rear blinkers.

Man that car is so clean, if I owned it I'd put it in storage for like 30 years and then bust it out and be head power ranger in charge in the year 2040.

Great looking car MATE! Just saw the pics and I have to re-welcome you to the board, TiSilver isn't one of my favorite colors on the 7, but I have to say yours is looking really good for some reason. Maybe exceptional photography skills? And the yellow turn signals I think have to do with it, they look good even though I know a lot of people prefer white (on my car of course I prefer white but yellow looks great on yours)

I remember when the x5 first came out first couple years (2000, 2001, somewhere around there) they had orange and red tail lights, but then they started making the white and red ones and never looked back, you can check it out on the different model year x5's on autotrader.com or cars.com or w/e

That is something I never thought of haha, but GREAT point. Maybe that's why the British usually have bad reviews of the e65 iDrive system (besides from the fact that it sucks, but I still think it's bearable enough since the rest of the car is AWESOME), because they are using it with their off-hands!

Yes it's a November 2001 build MY02.

Amber indicators and side markers aren't my choice either but after pricing replacements (around $2k!) I think I can put up with them. Now I realise how unique my 7 is I kind of like that they're amber.

We drive on the left hand side of the road here, so all cars are right hand drive, so we're all pretty much used to changing gears and using iDrive with our left hand.

Does anyone know how to make all doors unlock when I open the driver's door from the inside?

I don't think you can, just use the unlock button in the middle-dash

Yes, definitely, uniqueness has a price on it as well. The upgrades would cost a whole lot of money for something that's not even a 100% upgrade..there are still advantages to having the amber lights

As for the unlocking, I think you're getting too greedy with the functions on the 7 just unlock it from the button in the middle (with your LEFT hand of course ) under the Emergency Lights button
