Caravan through SantaBarbara?

is there gonna be any caravan passing through SB on their way TO Bimmerfest? if so what time do you guys plan on passing?
Also I think I might set up a Santa Barbara Caravan to meet up at Earl Warren and mob out.

Lets keep this thread alive, and see what develops. It is a beautiful early morning drive down the coast and into Pasadena.

I'd love to participate, only I suspect I will be heading down a few days early...

I have a BMW - 2 technically - neither are street-able right now, and one will never be lol

Swing on by, I will be ready to jump in the caravan at the 101 South / Oxnard Blvd on ramp. I live in Riverpark so I'm just off the 101. If you wanted to stop for some Coffee Bean or Starbucks we could possibly do that.

so it looks like no one is passing through SB so I might start setting this up for SB people. spread the word.

subscribing to this thread...not sure if I'm going yet, but I live in SLO so this would be as close as I could get to a caravan.

I suspect you central coast folks will need to form your own caravan if you're hoping for something on the day of the event. The main group from NorCal will plan on arriving in Pasadena sometime Friday afternoon. There is usually another small group that leaves the SFBA Friday evening after work. If anyone plans on heading to LA on Saturday morning, they'll probably be flying down 5 and not taking the scenic route.

well looks like I will be going the opposite direction as you guys - going to ALMS at Laguna Seca

I'm just a few more miles down the road in Camarillo. Pleasant Valley exit to be exact. If I go, id be up for a caravan. I could join mid drive.

Hey mikracer I live in SLO as well and hope to be attending the fest. Going through SB will be the closest to a caravan were gonna get.

im not a 100% sure but me and a couple of friends are leaving a day before to go to some hotel parties and meet up with everyone else on the d day but if u wanna hang out with us anytime email me ur phone number so we can hang out

What's up man. If you're ever in the Goleta area me and a couple friends meet up on Fridays at The Home Depot. you should cruze by we go around 9:00 PM

Maybe someone should just decide where and when the meeting point in SB will be. Then people can decide whether they will come or not.

Suggestions: Earl Warren, or Starbucks at La Cumbre Plaza. Good freeway on and off. lots of parking, easy to find others. Would be good to set up meet and departure time to coordinate with SF valley caravan.

Earl Warren will work for me (right near home) 6:30 or 7 should be good. Still need to figure out when I want to get to Pasadena. Settle on the location, then fine tune the time.
