Question about M6 Wheels on a 2008 528XI

I have been told to avoid a staggered setup for my XI, but i wanted to get the M6 wheels and wanted to know if anybody could steer me in the right direction.

What kind of tires do i need and where is a good place to get the rims from?

Any help would be appreciated. I just don't want to get stuck with the wrong items. Thanks in advance

Since you have an Xi, the OEM M6 wheels will not fit as the offset is too small which means the wheels would stick out too far.

You will need wheels with an offset in the 35-40mm range.

There are a number of vendors that make replica or aftermarket wheels that will fit, including reps of the M6 wheels.

I bought a set of M6 replica wheels for my 535i because I wanted 18" wheels for my winter setup instead of the standard 19" M6 Wheels.

Miro wheels seem pretty popular with a lot of people, but I believe you'll need hub centric rings since the hub hole is something like 74.1mm instead of 72.56mm.

You might want to check out modbargains.com, eurowheels.com, umnitza.com, and forums.5series.net.

I bought them on ebay from eurowheelsusa. I believe their webpage is http://www.eurowheelsgallery.com. I haven't seen any M6 replica wheels on their webpage recently though.
