1st pics of new ride - 328xi Le mans

My wife got these iPhone pics of her new car being delivered to the dealer's yard today.

It came right off the truck and straight inside to be stored until it is prepped, de-badged and ready for pick up Sat afternoon.

Crappy pic quality but she is super excited !

Congrats! I don't know if I could have done that. I'd want to be the one driving it right away and not seeing someone else driving it.

Ya, I know how he feels, I bought mine in CA, but didn't want to pay the extra 4% in sales tax so I had to have a 3.5 hour ride in my car I just purchased with a dealer employee driving me back to NV. Don't get me wrong the ride in the passenger seat was ok, but it was torture watching someone else drive it for the first 3.5 hours.

Nice car... If possible please post some pics of the interior after you pick it up. I am very close to placing and order for a 335 with the same exact color combo. I am on the fence between Oyster and Saddle. I have Terra/Aluminum right now and would prefer a change but I want to see more of the Oyster/Glacier combo. Thanks..

Congrats!

Looks like you bought at Prestige in Jersey, yes? If so, say hi to one of the sales managers for me... Curtis Aldershof. He's a hell of a guy.

Tell him Tom is still waiting for the whole roll of quarters... he'll know what it means ;-)

Ah, I love the smell of ///M-Sport in the morning.

Make sure the xDrive badges come off, too.

You debadged it already? I hope to see more pics of the car! The MSports does look unique on a 328i since most MSports are seen on the 335i. Are you going to drive in the performance tires?

Very cool!!

Personally I don't like de-badged cars. It's kinda like your disappointed in what you have, when you should be proud.

Other than that, I love the way you've set up the car and I like all the options you chose!

For me it is an aesthetic issue, I think the look is a lot cleaner. I have done it to most every car I've ever had starting with taking the 5.0L emblems off my Mercury Capri in college and then my 1st new car a 1986 Mustang GT was also de-badged. Even on my Land Rover Discovery the front of the hood looked a lot cleaner without all the letters, and the SE7 under the side marker light.

Nice - congratulations! You three will have a lot of fun together

I considered debadging but decided against it. I really like the look when the car is new and shiny, but as the car ages it looks kind of weird and people will think it is an aftermarket hood or something. However, if you keep your car beautiful like above, you won't have to worry about that!

Beautiful car!

Once you get used to comfort access you'll be frustrated on any car that doesn't have it. What? You mean I have to get my key out to open the door? And I have to use something other than just my finger to start the car. Who came up with these stupid ideas??????? At least that's how it went for me when I went back to drive my Jeep.
