M3 vs 1999 323i conv part is the same?

My 323 is at the shop having some work done (side swiped a pine tree) and will have to have at least my lower control arm fixed. I heard that the M3 bearings/bushings on this part is much better than the base 3 ones.
I inquired to the repair shop if I could pay the difference and have the better ones installed. The repair shop said that in order to change them out he would have to pull the bushings off the control arm and install the new ones (basically it’s a kit that comes preassembled).

Hmmm, just called my local BMW dealer to check on this and they said that the bearings do not come with the lower control arm, however, for this model and year there is no difference between the M3 kit and mine?!?

Seems odd to me, does this sound right?

Where's the help or guidance? Where are all the pros that know these sort of things? I have a serious question and yet all I get is a comment about the bounce?

My webpage hosting company said I've maxed out my transfer for this month which will reset on the 25th. I'm very dissatisfied and may need to learn HTML so I can use some of that free webspace that comes with my cable modem account.
