F10 Colors

Has anyone seen a color chart for the F10? I have the European brochure but there are no colors shown. I’ve looked at the German website and there are only about five or six basic colors shown there.
My last three 5’s have had gray interior and I’m hoping they come out with a few more colors that will go with the Natural Brown interior. I like the gray but I’m getting a little tired of the same old thing. Even my wife’s X-3 has gray.
I saw a new 3 series with Tasman Green Exterior and Natural Brown Interior and it really looked nice. All the photos I’ve seen so far show the F10 without Sport Package and I’m anxious to see it with the bigger wheels and Shadowline Trim.

Gee, let me guess. There will be:

White
Silver
Light grey
Dark grey
Black


It seems that BMW doesn't actually know there are colors in our world anymore. Granted, most of their body styles look good in all of the above, but I almost have a little moment of glee when I see a BMW in an actual color anymore. Sigh.....

Overall their choices suck!

My wife's 2008 535i has the Monaco Blue exterior with the Natural Brown interior... nice combo, especially with the black carpet and trim (just seating surfaces are natural). I've heard of a new interior color called Cinnamon that's supposedly between the Natural and Terra (from the 3 series) in darkness that should go nicely with any of the blues or even the dark graphite metallic exterior....

Now if BMW NA would hurry up and release F10 colors, pricing, etc., we could go ahead and plan for the next one...

Mmm, I agree, BMW is big time boring when it comes to colors. I think BMW gets its color inspiration from 1950s black and white TV.

We would have gone with the red from the 3 Series but balked when we found out that would be a $2,000 charge. So we went with Deep Sea Blue, the jazziest standard color--and we get complements on it, no doubt from people used to seeing BMWs in whites, blacks, and greys.

Color choices are about the same as they are now - boring.

From an ordering guide for F10 posted elsewhere in Bimmerfest, I see:
354 Titanium Silver Metallic

A52 Space Gray Metallic

A90 Dark Graphite Metallic
Priority 1
A17 Mojave Metallic
A72 Cashmere Silver Metallic
A76 Deep Sea Blue Metallic

I heard somewhere that Priority 1 options usually have to be custom ordered, but I do know my local dealer has a Cashmere Silver Metallic on order.

I hope that they offer a beige headliner with beige leather. The Oyster Grey headliner sucks big time with the beige leather.

I looked at the German site and there are only seven colors listed. I like the list that Tunafish showed...do you know where that was posted?

Heck I'm sure I'll buy one even if I have to buy blue or gray again. BMW's should be listed as a controlled substance becasue ther're so darned addictive.

My wife has never cared much about cars and she thought I was kind of nuts about my BMW's. Then one day she had to drive my '02 530 and that was it. She's now on her second one, a '07 X3 and she won't even look at anything else.

I have a PDF copy of the officcial BMW NA ordering guides dated 3.15.10. for the entire line-up including the F10. Those colors are correct for the F10.

The color code (A90) is the same for both so at least by that logic yes they are the same color.

Thank you! That is logical. I did not see the color code for sopisto grey, but I have the A90 for the dark graphite on my excel spread sheet I created. Too bad they did not use the same name in the US, you always see it referred to as sophisto grey on blogs and other sites. I think we could have "handled" that name in the US.

You're missing alpine white and a regular black which isn't shown on the German configurator but can be ordered in places like Poland and is in the printed catalogue. I have no idea if these will be available Stateside.

I ordered alpine white with gloss black window surrounds after seeing it in the flesh.

I saw that photo too and the person that took the photo at the Canadian auto show in Vancouver said the color came out much better in the photo than it looked in real life due to the flash changing the tone a bit. He was underwhelmed at the color and said it looked nothing like the configurator color, which by the way I thought was pretty hot. Good luck with your decision. Maybe you can find a Cinnamon F07 locally to look at, they are at the dealers already.

Sigh... I really like the Natural Brown that I have now...

Natural brown looks extremely classy. Cinnamon brown looks like crap.
