Its ok guys I can't wait either!!!! That's why I'm saving up some money.... I will most likely drop the engine off at a shop with the gaskets and such in a few weeks... Or do it myself if I can find a diy for double vanos and guys I'll take as many pics as I can for the followers of the m54 movement if it happens well

the gaskets are not bad for the vanos i replaced mine the but entire system i would take to someone who know what they are doing..my single one was a pain gotta lock the cams put engine on tdc etc etc and one mess up your fckd lol but if your just doin the gaskets you should be fine

lol is that for real? tell me your getting this sh*t for free. why would you do a complicated motor swap for such little power.. i mean props it'll be unique. but a 330 engine would be the real win..

Mike I have an auto 318is the epitomy of slow.. A modded m54b25 on an auto tranny and without headers will put down over 200whp.
headers do a lot on these engines and I'm going to use a 5speed tranny and more mods... I got the engine for 150 bucks and its one more step to be unique.

Also the m54b25 weighs as much if not less than my m44.

I can supercharge it in the future if I want and keep the emphasis on weight to stay low... While I can still put down around 220whp and have a unique car

I'll stay the current plan even though I can pick up an m54b30 for 800

i guess 150$ plus all the machine work, various parts , probably going to cost around 800$ at least when all said and done. i see 328 motors for that price or less.. which have more potential powerwise, easier to mod, easier to swap, it will be cool, i just dont know about the headache for that little power, but i guess coming from a 318 it will be cool, im kind of looking at it in my perspective of having a m50b25. good luck and it will be dope, i guess it will be easier to put an m54b30 in if u do ever go that route.
