The boosted versions of these cars would smack the m3 so bad but then we bring in the s50b32 to make it even

First off, those are all USDM cars. 2nd, the SC300 and the NA Supra are basically the same car, mechanically.

I'll agree that if the turbo versions of the Fairlady and the Supra were used, it would be a bit different. However, using the NA versions of the Fairlady and Supra, and not the Soarer (SC) with the v8, the odds were a little stacked in the M3's favor.

I would like to see a similar article today, something along the lines of Best Car for a late teen to mid 20's sports enthusiast... or something like that.

Yea Alan is right the lexus and the supra are realllllly close to being the same car.

How about we take that out and stick the 3000gt VR4 in its place

Then take the competitors twin turbo versions of all of them and then put this together it would be much more exciting.

The turbo versions would smack the US m3 buttttt

That's what the euro 3.2 is for in reality it puts out the same power of the turbo versions of the competition in NA form so I think it would still win.

I think it would still be fun to watch the best of the best go at it

the US VR4 is too heavy to fit into this competition. The JDM one would be a bit better off, as it had a much smaller curb weight. The euro M3 would be fantastic, but it is not available in the states off of a lot from "back in the day." The turbo versions of the other cars were available then. I'm not a Supra/300z expert so I'm not for sure on the turbo production dates. I'm just happy that not one American coupe made the list!

the turbo supra was from 93 till 98 i think...



and the 300zx turbo was from 1990 till 96 if memory serves me right...

the VR4 is one of the best looking Japanese coupes. I just can't stand the Dodge Stealth... just makes me angry for some reason.

A local had named his car the "rice Viper." It has the Viper badge on the front, and the "Viper stripes" down the middle.

the Vr4 is one of the most beatifully styled cars of its era and the dodge stealth is the exact opposite


I love the vr4 and the 300zx

I've always liked that old Corolla Gt-s, but the sellers of those cars in good condition caught on to the JDM fan-boy revolution and were charging a sh*t-ton for one last time I was in the market for one.
