Road trip write up and detailing after in my new 7
Decided to take more photos of my 7 after having her detailed, just got back from Malasyia and killed one to many bugs along the highway at high speeds. I just drove her across the state to Malaysia which was a good 750kms up and down back to Singapore.
Now this is just my feedback on how it felt at high speeds. I was averaging about 200kmhr and it felt a little nervous at those speeds, like skittish especially in the rear and I guess because it's a long wheel base. However I am very sensitive to these small little things. I also did put it in sport mode which I personally feel is useless at high speeds and only good for city driving in the 730 at least. Reason because at high speeds around 200kmhr, the revs are pretty high in sports mode and the car feels like it's trying really hard so I left it on comfort mode at those speeds. Again in city driving, the sports mode is perfect. Overall the dirve was lovely, car felt very rock solid planted except for over 200kmhr where it felt a just a little skitish. I love my new 7!

Beautiful! I almost got an alpine white 750i (before I got my Graphite Metallic), but I did not care for the wheels the dealer put on the car, and there were certain features either lacking, or it had that were not ideal for me). I think Alpine White is striking!
Gorgeous car!!! I just noticed that you car has 2 exhaust (tail) pipes only on one side of you car. Here in the USA (and Canada) their is a pipe on each side. Wonder why the big difference?

Damn man you are absolutely correct, thought I was the only one. I remember everyitme I had my Lambo detailed and I took it out, it would rain and that used to piss me off so much. I used to tell my friends, if you want it to rain to give me a call and I'll take the Lambo out. Haha but your correct, washing is raining!

yes but one can buy the parts from BMW and have it installed to make it look like the 740 or 750. I know becuase I asked and was thinking of doing it. You need to buy and extra exhaust, 2 tailpipes from the 740 or 750 and rear valance. I was quoted US$2000 including installation. Decided not to do it because they would have to cut and weld the exhaust to the one already on the car and I hate this cutting and welding on my brand new $210k car.
